Most of the area is open rocky terrain with scattered bushes and poplar where a multitude of birds make their home. Aguilucho Cenizo, Águila calzada and Cigüeña Blanca also often pass by.

Accesso
A large gravel road runs through the area from Bentu to the Buzau River. It is recommended to drive to the northern end of the area where most of the birds are located. From here the area can be explored on foot or by bike.
