Description

Most of the area is open rocky terrain with scattered bushes and poplar where a multitude of birds make their home. This includes, among others Ellekrage, Pirol, Biæder, Hærfugl, Isabellastenpikker, Lærkefalk, Ørnevåge, Stenpikker, Syrisk Flagspætte, Turteldue, Rosenbrystet Tornskade andRødrygget Tornskade. Hedehøg, Dværgørn and Hvid Stork also often pass by.

In the northern end by the Buzau river other birds such as Silkehejre, Triel, Lille Præstekrave, Hvidklire, Tinksmed and Hvidskægget Terne Can be seen.

Access

A large gravel road runs through the area from Bentu to the Buzau River. It is recommended to drive to the northern end of the area where most of the birds are located. From here the area can be explored on foot or by bike.
